Our Passion
At Backyard Softball, we're passionate about softball and everything it represents. We believe that softball is not just a game, but a way of life, and we're committed to helping players of all levels achieve their full potential on and off the field.
Our Owner
Ben is a former collegiate catcher, football player, high school baseball coach and current college softball coach. He is a father of three boys who married his college sweetheart, also a collegiate athlete.
He is enrolled at Weber State University projected to receive his Bacheloers Degree, winter 2025. He is also a candidate for a Maste
Ben is a former collegiate catcher, football player, high school baseball coach and current college softball coach. He is a father of three boys who married his college sweetheart, also a collegiate athlete.
He is enrolled at Weber State University projected to receive his Bacheloers Degree, winter 2025. He is also a candidate for a Masters of Science in Sport Management with an emphasis on athletic performance and development. He coached highschool baseball and currently coaches his sons in youth baseball. He is a current Womens softball volunteer coach at Salt Lake Community College and pursuing a full time college softball coaching position.
